The Secret Classroom Project was a collaboration with artist Katy Beinart and the staff and students of Fairways Primary School through the Creative Partnerships scheme.

The project aimed to create a multidisciplinary outdoor learning space for the students at the school, whilst adhereing to the brief of sustainabilty, organic growth, sensory experience and secret. Above is a photograph of the space before we began. It was originally a swimming pool area, but has been unused for over two years.

 This project was a 2 month self build, and so we would like to thank all the pupils, staff, parents and Ford workers who volunteered their time to help turn the design into a reality.
